Art journal layout with Lindy’s Gang and Tim Holtz products- Use your wings

Hello lovely people:)
It’s a happy day today. One of those when you believe that your dreams, however slowly it may seems, can come true. Therefore it’s a perfect day for this layout, to me so positive.
There is a process video if you’d like to see it and I will put the link to it at the end of this post.
I started without preparing my page with gesso. It was not really needed as I did not use too much paint nor heavy elements. Personally I prefer to use Lindy’s sprays on the untreated page, especially if it’s the watercolor or mixed-media paper. I started with a round stitching stamp, then applied water and fallowing Lindy’s sprays: Starburst- Green with Envy Green and Moon Shadow Mist- Incandescent Copper. Added some splatters with the same sprays and some more stamping. Small geometrical elements I embossed with WOW! embossing pad and Lindy’s EP Obviously Black. Since I needed even more splatters, I did it with Magical Blazing Black mixed with water. Remnant Rubs by Tim Holtz added more interest to the page and I decided to use his Paper Dolls and a fussy-cut butterfly from Stamperia tissue paper. There was some color added to both dolls and butterfly, using all the time the same sprays. As an embellishments I used piece of black thread, screw-shaped brad, Mini Art Stones and Glossy Accents by Ranger. The final touch, stickers by Tim Holtz- Small Talk. All elements were glued with Finnabair’s 3D Gloss gel.
Love my girls:) They seem to have a very positive attitude:)
