Adventure awaits- be amazed

Who doesn’t like a good, mystical adventure? I’d love to go on one, but since that is probably not gonna happen any time soon, I can at least make a journal page about it. It’s almost like closing my eyes, lying back and dreaming:) This page has been done for Mixed Media & Art challenge and I was enjoying doing it. I supposed to say what my inspiration was, but honestly all the moodboard was the inspiration. I love all things magical, mystical, secretive. The moodboard made my imagination run wild and that’s what I wanted to portray on my page. I love trees- they are to me a sacred beings and that’s why I was so attracted to this challenge. Hence the photo with trees and a beautiful light peering from behind them. And the key with the lock lost somewhere far away… Oh, I could go on:) But some things are better to be kept secret;)
There is a long list of products I used and as I dotted them down step-by-step, I think I did not left anything behind:)
Heavy Gesso by Finnabair, Light and Fluffy Modeling Paste by The Crafter’s Workshop, stencil- Dramatic Floral- also by TCW, Art Stones and Mini Art Stones, Lindy’s Starbursts: Afternoon Delight Denim, Tainted Love Teal, Yellow Rose Of Texas, Screamin’ Banshee Black, Frolic in the Forest Black and Magical: Sidewalk Chalk. For stamping I used Artemio’s Circle stamp, Paper Poetry Script stamp and Carabelle Studio- Guirlands avec des ronds. There is also Scrapiniec chipboard, sentiment from Tim Holtz’ Small Talk and Antique Brilliance Mystic Turquoise by Finnabair which I added to some of the embellishments (f.ex the casting of the sleeping face, the key and the lock).
I am entering October’s challenge on Mixed Media and Art blog:
