Harmony… It means so many different things to me. It’s my family, my crafting, my time alone, feeling of accomplishments when I look at my beautiful children, love I get from them and my husband even when I feel out of sorts… It’s essential to my well-being and in difficult times it keeps me going.

For this journal page I’ve chosen a song by Matt Simons- Catch and Release- it’s my new favourite as I can easily relate to its beautiful, wise words. When I am down, I dance to it because: “There’s a place I go to, when no one knows me, If I breathe real slowly, Let it out and let it in…Dance gives me my harmony also, when life is hard, when everybody is asleep, when I have only myself to bring me up.

Of course I used Lindy’s to create this page- who doesn’t?:) I think I was a little all over my place with crafting lately, so I decided to try to come back to my true self. That’s why the page is monochromatic and what for other people may seem a little sad, it’s after all my kind of journaling. I chose to use Starbursts: Silent Night Silver and Screamin’ Banshee Black & Frolic in the Forest Black. From Finnabair I used Glass Glitter Platinum, Mini Art Stones, 3D Gloss Gel and Heavy White Gesso. I added tag from 7 Dots Studio from the collection Hazy Days and Tim Holtz Metallic Stickers. Birds stamp comes from Craft Sensations. And of course for the background I used printed out lyrics from Matt Simons song:) I am very happy with the end result and I hope you can see real, harmonius me in this page:)
