Drawing gum technique- ATC’s

Hello,
Today I am up on Lindy’s Gang blog with a new project:) I want to show you what beautiful effects you can achieve with drawing gum and Magicals. And it is super-easy. All you need is a little patience:)
I started by cutting off the cards from mixed media paper (the size is tiny bit smaller then regular ATC’s as I will be adding white background card as a base. Afterwards I took the fine-tip bottle of drawing gum and just doodle away!
Now comes the time when you need to be patient:) You need to leave it to air-dry and only than you can start adding some colors. I decided to use Magicals (set Autumn Leaves) and Magical Shakers (Grab a Guy Gold, Magnolia Magenta Gold, Cuckoo Clock Cardinal, Guten Tag Teal, Afternoon Delight Denim & Autumn Maple Crimson), although I know for a fact that you can use sprays with the same effects:)
And again, be patient. Air-dry your project and when it’s super-dry, you can start peeling off the drawing gum with your fingers. That’s the effect you’ll get. Gorgeous, isn’t it?:)
While waiting for things to dry, I started to prepare my embellishments. I used Lindy’s embossing powders: Obviously Black and Purely White to add extra interest to the Snip-ARt chipboard branches.
Two of the cards had similar coloring, so I decided to choose one, while I discarded the other. Which left me with 3, completely different ATC’s:) Then I added some stamping and embossing with Purely White EP.
Next step was to glue white base to the cards and let it run through my sawing machine.
I attached the branches to ATC’s and added more embellishments:
This is the end effect and if you look closely, you can still see the effect of the drawing gum on the cards:
