Life is full of beauty…art journal spread
Hello lovely people,
As you know already, I love art journaling:) So many pages done since I started two years ago. Here is another one, with a lot of blank space, just the way I like it! Also with Infusions and this time I went a little with the feeling using two colors I would not normally use together. Why, I have no idea, I was just thinking that it may happen they will not work great together and how was I wrong! At the end creating this page was a blast!
I started with putting some water down onto the page and then sprinkling two Infusions: A Bit Jaded and Blackcurrant. I could have easily leave it at that- the effect was stunning! But I had this whole idea in mind, so I kept going. I used Archival Ink in black to do the stamping and I used one handmade stamp and PaperArtsy: Jofy stamp- JM53 & Ecclectica stamp by Kim Dellow- EKD03. On the acrylic block I mixed tiny bit of Black Knight Infusion with water and added that to the page as a splatter. Also added some black transfer foil by Paper Poetry and slightly off the middle my focal point- torn pieces of old book pages, tissue paper, some burlap, metal wire, piece of gause and casting of a face (first covered with Black Knight Infusion and later with Shimmering Red from Daler Rowney). To finish the project I added more splatter with PaperArtsy Fresco Finish Chalk Acrylics- Snowflake and added Clipping Stickers by Tim Holtz as a sentiment. Big fan lately of Glossy Accents, I added few as well:)
The inspiration to create this page comes from the gorgeous project by Lynne Moncrieff and even though my page is not vintage, I hope I did justice to the topic of Torn, Ripped and Burnt on PaperArtsy blog:)
I am taking part in the PaperArtsy challenge- Torn, Ripped, Burnt.
See you soon!
