Peace- art journal page
And again I created another journal page:) Love doing them:) This one is made for ITAC’17 challenge and the theme is The Americas. I was inspired by the Native Americans (hence the dream catcher) and first pioneers (photo in the flower). Also I added brad with the wind rose- which to me symbolizes discovery of a New World.
I used acrylic paints in greens from Pebeo and while cleaning my stencil (The Crafters Workshop- Corncob Etching) on a piece of tissue, I’ve noticed that my tissue got a beautiful pattern. Of course I had to use piece of it it in my journal:) I Also added some tattoos in silver , metal embellishments and a lot of wire. There is a piece of one dime, covered with Ayeeda Ink from 13@rts (BTW this ink is really great to create a splatter and there is a lot of splatter on my page:). There are also pieces of torn tracing paper, cabochons (under one I glued a vintage picture of a lady), resin feather, stars, Finnabair’s background stamp (#961961) and some doodling. to add more colors I used Ditrsess Oxides diluted with water:Lucky Clover, Cracked Pistachios, Twisted Citron. The chipboard Peace comes from 13@rts.
And the end result:
Hope you can see some pieces of Americas on my pages:)
Till the next time,
