Upside down on purpose
Finally I got myself beautiful scrapbook papers from 7 Dots Studio and here is my first ever layout on it:) The paper comes from the collection Cotton Candy Dreams and I actually used it on purpose upside-down:) With this layout I wanted to show a little how my life looks like now. How upside- down everything is when you have children and how still it’s all so, so perfect:) The picture in the middle with the clock it’s a metaphor to time passing too quickly and/ or not being there at all for me:) It was actually quite funny to work on this layout, another project I created for More Mixed Media Challenge blog because this one it’s very personal.
As always I am very true to Finnabair’s product and so I used here 3D Gel Medium, Clear Crackle Texture Paste and Mika Flakes- Gold Leaves. There is die cut from Tim Holtz in the background and I used Lindy’s Stamp Gang Starbursts sprays: Hag’s Wart Orange and Freaky FrankenLime. I did some light stamping (dots) with Lindy’s EP- Purely White. The rest are embellishments- pieces of wood, metal wire, brads, sequins, gause, flowers etc. Hope you’ll like it:)
One more close-up:)
And the whole piece:)
