Altered frame with handmade foamiran flowers

Hi everyone,
Today I want to share with you the altered jewellery frame I made with my foamiran flowers. I started making homemade flowers maybe 3 months ago, but as long as you have access to foamiran (which for me was really complicated at the beginning), they are quite easy and fun to make. But they do take time, especially if you (like me for the most part) have to fussy-cut each flower 🙂 Below you’ll find a link to my new videos (part 1 and part 2), where I share all the different and known to me techniques on how to make them 🙂
But this post will be mostly about my altered frame, which I started to make few years ago, before I even discovered mixed-media. First one I did was for the hair clips for my daughter as I had enough at some point to dig inside a box to be able to choose the right one amongst so many others.
The frames I do now are more complex if it comes to decorating, but my daughter still have the one I made for her and what’s more important- she loves it and uses it every single day 🙂 If you want to see my earliest frames, please click here 🙂
I will not bore you with more explanations as I made process video on that subject 🙂 Please have a look at few close-ups below and you’ll find there a link to my second video as well. I tried to explain everything in detail. Needed to cut my video though because simply it was too long, but I left all the essential parts and cut out only the boring ones ;)I am very new to video making, but hope you will like it and you’ll find my altered frame idea fun and interesting. Hugs to all, Asia
