Celebrate today- Scrapbooking layout in gold

And I am back with a new layout:) This time I am celebrating today- Carpe Diem:) Why not? Life is too short not to enjoy it fully and every day:)
I am slowly starting to grow my media products/embellishments collection, but there is still so much room for improvement! So for now and for this layout in particular, amongst other things, I used: chipboards (lovely!) from Scrapiniec, glass glitter from Finnabair, 13@rts paper and chipboard “Today”, or rub-ons by Tim Holtz. As (almost:) always, at the bottom you’ll find step-by-step tutorial and full list of products used:)
And, as always, some close-ups:)
And below my sweet, hand-made “bells” (see Tutorial below)
Tutorial:
Scrapbooking paper (by 13@rts: Fly away- Fleeting moments) was firstly treated with gel medium. With the sponge I added afterwards golden paint (by Rico Design), than some watercolor golden paint (which I let run a little). Added some stamps for extra texture (embossed some of them with black embossing powder) and used a stencil of white circles (texture paste). The other additions are: golden glitter, golden thread (two types of thread-thick and thin), some sizal for under the picture, tiny glitter sticks by Glorex in a coppery color, small golden balls (part of Christmas decoration, lol:) and Finnabair’s glass glitter. The layout was covered with splashes of golden and black paint. Picture and the scraps of paper from underneath it were distressed with a simple scissors;). Chipboards by Scrapiniec (and one die in the left bottom corner) were embossed with black embossing powder and then I rubbed on them some golden paint for extra effect. The same has been done with the chipboard word “Today” from 13@rts (I just used here black sparkling embossing powder as I did also for the stamped word “Celebrate“). My new, original additions (I think, as I’ve never seen anything similar on the layouts, lol:) are the small bell-like embellishments on the right side of the picture. As I actually don’t have too many flowers to use for my projects, I decided to do small bells (please, let’s call them bells, as I do not know any other English word for that:). I die-cutted few circles (two different sizes), cut in the middle and glued the sides together, spray-painted them in black and hand-painted them with my golden color, adding at the end black Distress Ink to the edges for more volume. Inside them I glued golden beads (which I also added to the other parts of the page). At the end few golden gems and that’s it:)Oh, can’t forget Remnants Rubs (Numbers) by Tim Holtz- they are always such a cool addition! Hope you like my layout:) Sleep tight!
